Optical Add/Drop Multiplexing (OADM)

Optelian offers simple one, two and four channel optical add/drop multiplexing on its CWDM systems. This provides a cost effective solution to drop appropriate amounts of bandwidth over short distances that is a typical requirement in the access area.

In 2008 Optelian will introduce an optical add/drop multiplexer for its 40 channel DWDM system. This OADM will allow individual or multiple channels to be dropped locally or remotely.
