OMS-719

OMS-719 is a 7U platform for advanced optical networking applications such as low data rate aggregation, Ethernet switching, OTN, ROADM, DWDM, and CWDM. It has optional cooling fans for higher powered applications.

 The OMS-719 shelf has 14 slots for LightGAIN modules. It is 7U (12.2 inches) in height and installs in a 19”, 23” or ETSI bay space. It can be ordered as either front or back accessible for installation and testing.

 The OMS-719 is compatible with all LightGAIN cards and supports up to 35 watts of power dissipation per slot. As most LightGAIN modules dissipate less than 10 W, the shelf can be ordered without fans for many applications.

 Fans can be added later whenever higher powered modules are to be installed. Redundant A&B power terminal blocks, highly visible alarm, power, and filter LEDs, dry contact alarm support, and a fan controller with fan status alarming provide easy maintenance. A fiber cover is used to protect jumper cables.
