LightGAIN OMX & ODM CWDM Cassettes
The LightGAIN OMX – Optical Multiplexer and ODM – Optical Drop Multiplexer cassettes are the newest building blocks from Optelian’s family of passive devices.
This product family utilizes ITU CWDM wavelengths and provides add / drop capability for up to 8 channels while supporting 1310nm field equipment, 9 channels on a single common fiber.
The OMX cassettes are available in two configurations to Mux and DeMux 4 or 8 CWDM Wavelengths, plus one 1310nm Wavelength onto one fiber, respectively. The ODM cassettes support dropping 2 or 4 Wavelengths, plus one 1310nm Wavelength at any location: CO, RT or Customer Premise. In total, there are 8 new cassettes to meet your needs.
A single monitor port is present on the OMX to allow an Optical Spectrum Analyzer to examine both traffic directions at once.
On each ODM, there are two monitors – one each for West and East traffic.
All of the cards mount in industry standard LGX ® shelves.
