LightGAIN OMS-519 Mounting Shelf
As part of Optelian’s LightGAIN family the OMS-519 is an active mounting solution holding up to 14 LightGAIN. The OMS-519 is 5RU (8.75 inches) in height and installs in either a 19” or 23” bay space.
The OMS-519 provides a “Plug-and-Play” mounting solution for DWDM and CWDM systems, optical regeneration, protection path switching and amplification, in managed or standalone configurations.
The backplane offers redundant Load A and B DC-power interfaces. Alarm contacts from all active LightGAIN cards are carried through the backplane and terminated in a 50 pin Amp-Champ, allowing remote alarm management of unmanaged systems through “dry contact” relays.
Through the use of a LightGAIN optical management card, the OMS-519 offers remote management and craft interface capabilities.
